Frensham Junior School’s musical performances have a rich and inspiring history in the School community.

Our ensembles include:

80-92% students learn musical instruments each year at Frensham Junior School – drums, cello, clarinet, flute, piano, saxophone, trombone, trumpet, ukulele, voice, viola, violin. In 2019 and 2020, Frensham Schools was awarded Certificate of Distinction from AMEB NSW for 'Top 10 Result in the Category of Most Outstanding Accredited School – All Grades – All Instruments'.

Every year, we host a musical production – a showcase of singing, dancing and drama, with every student from Preschool to Year 6. A team of dedicated professionals and Music staff guide students to their end-of-year performance.

The Junior Musical Production involves all students from Preschool to Year 2 (with Year 2 students in the lead). The Senior Musical Production involves Year 3 to Year 6 (with every Year 6 student having a lead role).
