Primary School (K - 6)

Whether working independently or as a team, every student is encouraged to achieve their best. We do this through a caring and supportive environment aimed a nurturing a strong sense of personal worth and belonging. This leads the student to develop a natural desire to know, learn and understand.

Our rich teaching and learning experiences aim to develop the child’s ability to generate knowledge and go deeply into topics in sophisticated ways.

The curriculum is organised in Stages: Kindergarten, Years 1 and 2, Years 3 and 4, and Years 5 and 6.

This allows us to provide an appropriate learning programme for each child, with units of study that can span two years or be offered in alternate years. Learning outcomes address the varying rates of development and interest over a two-year period.

In accordance with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA), we offer six broad Key Learning Areas in the curriculum: English, Mathematics, Science and Technology, HSIE (which includes History and Geography), Creative and Practical Arts (Visual Arts, Music, Drama and Dance), and PDHPE (Personal Development, Health and Physical Education).
